Sydney Read, 14, from Hartland,Vermont just graduated from eighthgrade at Hartland Elementary School. Inthe fall. she will be a freshman atHanover High School. The past twoyears she has been working with theCATV group at her school where she haslearned how to make different types ofvideos and use her creative mind tomake something spectacular. CATV hasinfluenced her to enter local videocompetitions. She has won first place inthree out of the four competitions she’sentered. She has made a variety of videos: horror, music videos,informational videos, interviews, and more. Last year, she had thehonor of going to MIT for a conference and videomaking contest.She’s looking forward to creating and expanding her knowledgeabout film in the future.
