On the 100th Anniversary of the birth of George Stoney, we get a chance to see this new documentary on his work as a media maker, teacher and access instigator. Directed by Mike Hazard, “Happy Collaborator: George Stoney” "" includes clips from many of his films, interviews with collaborators who worked with George in front of and behind the camera, and intimate recordings with him. We’ll follow the film with Q&A with two of his initial interns in the early 1970s at the Alternate Media Center, which helped spawned the Alliance for Community Media!
