Emergency Response and PEG

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

How can community access television respond in times of emergency? We’ll take an overview of the emergency management and homeland security framework in local, state, and federal government. Participants will learn how to engage their local community responders, citizens, and cable access partners to build capacity for citizens to prepare for, respond to, and recovery from natural and man-made disasters.

Examples of programs already operating will be presented, and time will be allocated during the workshop to develop a take home action plan. Come and engage with your fellow professionals and prepare to return home to be a positive force for your community’s response to emergencies.
